Lot Details

Brass gimbal mounted, 4" silvered dial with name, address and serial number, Roman numerals with rail track minutes, subsidiary state-of-wind 0-56 dial at XII, flanked by garter framed crowned medallions: 'By Appointment to the Queen' and ' Gold Medal of Honour/Paris Exn.1855', subsidiary seconds dial at VI. The mahogany case with glazed mid-section, set with an ivory disc with maker's details and matched serial number, a vacant brass cartouche inlaid to the lid. With 'tipsy' key. 175 x 175 x 180mm. Provenance: Ex Cordy's 2019.
