Lot Details

Japanese Arisaka straight single-fullered bayonet, steel hilt with hooked quillon, steel pommel, wood grips attached with rivets. The ricasso is marked with a maker's mark of interlocking circles: this signified the Tokyo Arsenal up to 1936, after which production was moved to the Kokura Arsenal. Grip a bit worn, blade lightly oxidized, overall good to very good.
