Grahame Sydney (1948 -) 'Broken Hill' colonial building - graphite on paper - title and details inscribed - signed and dated ‘6-7 2 81’. 510 x 767mm. Note: Sir Grahame Sydney is one of New Zealand’s pre-eminent living artists. His iconic South Island landscapes are based on acutely observed pencil studies executed on site often recording details of colour / shade and other visual memory aids to assist in the creation of the finished artwork in his studio. This work show this method.
