in fitted box with many extra lenses. Smaller side viewing telescope and similar spare. Unusually large six-inch objective lens. Closed length overall 1740mm. No tripod. Note: In 1881 The Royal Observatory Greenwich ordered two new instruments, including two 6-inch Equatorials by Cooke (Cooke No.1 and Cooke No.2) for the British 1882 Transit of Venus expeditions.
