In contemporary black frame. This woodcut is an image of The Cornish Pumphouse. On the edge of Martha Mine. This striking structure is a testament to the town’s gold-mining legacy. Built in 1904. It was the building from which water was pumped out of the mine to allow for the extraction of gold.
