Lot Details

Maltese cross form Kahurangi Pounamu fob pendant circa 1900. 9ct gold bail and hand crafted 9ct gold Otago 4th contingent badge from the Boer war era with loss. The Otago company departed 24th March 1900 from Port Chalmers to Beira and crossed Rhodesia to fight alongside the New South Wales Imperial Bushman. Possibly belonging to rifleman William Harris. Provenance sourced from estate. Slight damage to fern leaf. Boxed with a 45cm gold plated sterling chain. Fob is 3cm long and 2.5cm wide.
