A first edition; first publishing by Collins in 1951 for The Crime Club. A near fine copy with some bumping to the head and base of the spine and corners. With good condition unclipped dust jacket with small tears to spine. Baghdad is the location for Christie's spy fiction novel which centres around a secret summit of superpowers and a plot to develop an unidentified; secret weapon. Christie's departure from her murder mysteries was very well received at the time.
