52mm case hallmarked Chester 1910 by James McKnight, case maker, Norfolk Street, Coventry. Keyless movement and dial signed W. Matthews, 52 Holyhead Rd., Coventry, numbered 42686, and both also with 'broad arrow' War Department mark. Lever escapement. White enamel dial, Roman numerals, rail track minutes, subs seconds dial at VI.
