Lot Details

Note: Fran Anderton: I officially became a Glass Artist in 2003 after gaining a Diploma in Glass Design and Production. I find many disciplines in the creation of art glass fascinating, but the adrenalin of blowing hot glass holds my heart. In 2019 I imported my own mini glass furnace from USA, enabling me to be self sufficient in my Frantic Glass Studio, situated on my property in Castlecliff, Whanganui. The delicious colours and forms of fruit have enticed me to highlight and duplicate the form in the medium of hot glass for a few years now. I hope the viewer can appreciate the purity I have endeavoured to capture by use of colour, surface preparation and form.
