Lot Details

Note: Custom made by Bruce Trethewey at the request of Ron Sang in about 2000, to suit our vendor's parent's house that Ron Sang had designed. Celebrated New Zealand architect and designer Ron Sang (1938–2021) designed bespoke, modernist furniture throughout his career. His most notable table designs include the contemporary "Steel Drum" dining table (featuring a steel drum base and a circular glass top) and custom, monolithic granite dining tables custom-built for his residential projects.
