handcrafted aquatint, 475 x 290mms. A superb example of original printmaking reproducing a painted work. A. Besnard was a master printmaker whose work is held in major collections including the MET, Auckland Art Gallery, and Te Papa. Ex. the collection of Bill Sutch & Shirley Smith, then Sutch-Ovenden by descent.
