Lot Details

each side cupboard with two drawers and cavity space, sliding glass doors to the centre section, above two cupboard doors, the interior with large shelf. Raised on plinth base and rectangular feet. (Some fading). 2460 x 580 x 1250mm. Provenance: Escaping Nazi persecution in Berlin in 1938, the vendors family moved to New Zealand. They were unable to take money out of the country, but household items were allowed, so their furniture, porcelain and silverware (made in Berlin, Bresslau and nearby) was able to accompany them on their voyage.
