Lot Details

A lacquered black chest with colourful Asian design. Once owned and made to order by a Countess around 1920. She’d lived on a grand estate but in later years moved to The Dorchester Hotel to live out the remainder of her life so had smaller pieces made to fit her suite there. (Bought from Mathew Upham Antiques Kings Rd London).
