patent 1896. Manufactured by J & E Stevens Company, USA. Most original paint remains. The coin is placed on top of the loaded gun, operated by depressing William's right foot thus 'shooting' the apple off his sons head, raising his right arm. L.270mm. Fitted on a later kauri base.
