Lot Details
of oval shape with swollen sides, the hinged lid with silver claw set cabochon rock crystal magnifying panel; the interior painted with Mercury, Minerva and Amor; the walls painted with baroque floral scrolls; the base painted with classical figures in a wooded landscape. A suspension bale fixed to the top, that along with the silver mount and rim has remnant gilt wash and assay stamps. 54 x 44 x 32mm.
