'Roses in Pewter Mug', oil on board, signed, named, detailed and labelled on reverse. 500 x 450mm. Provenance: From the family estate collection of the Elam artist, Jean Farquhar, the label verso stating 'Frances Irwin Hunt (died c.1976) artist, painted this, a mentor of Jean Farquhar. Friend of Jean and Ralph. Spinster of 66 Ranfurly Road, Epsom. Had bantams in her sprawling house and garden'.
