includes: Pingat Jasa Malaysia boxed medal and miniature, 'The New Zealand Defence Service Medal (Regular) and miniature, a WWII chrome miniature medal group including 'Malaya' and 'Borneo', together with brass NZ air force buttons, '35th Tactical Fighter Sqdn First to Fight clothe badge, other badges and various insignia. All in Victorian exotic woods writing box with parquetry block inlay inside the lid. Information found online: 'Roger Garrett joined around 1949 and was a P2/P3 Pilot. and was commissioned later. He didn't go to Singapore in the first detachment but was probably there in 1950 on the C47s.
