late 17thC, single pin-hole gnomon, with calendar and zodiacal scales, the outer ring calibrated 0-90-0-90-0 degrees, hours engraved in Roman numerals. Dia.155mm. With description card noting: 'For a similar dial see pp.193 of Encyclopaedia of Antique Instruments. (The suspension ring has been replaced)'. Provenance: Purchased from Trever Phillips 1987.
