Lot Details

incised and coloured wood panel, signed with incised cipher centre left. Labelled and entitled verso. MANAIA. A side faced figure used in Maori carving sometimes resembling a bird or even a human side face. Essential features being a beak with an eye above. 380 x 160mm.
