watercolour, signed 315 x 280mm. Note: Thomas Warner was active in Auckland in the early 1870s when he exhibited with the ASA (Auckland Society of Artists). This view shows Judge's Bay in Parnell, with St Stephens Chapel in the background, two Māori figures in the water and a waka on the shoreline. Further works by the artist are held in the collection of Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tamaki.
