curved side doors with double doors to the centre, raised on plinth base with curved rectangular feet. 1970 x 620 x 1850mm. Provenance: Escaping Nazi persecution in Berlin in 1938, the vendors family moved to New Zealand. They were unable to take money out of the country, but household items were allowed, so their furniture, porcelain and silverware (made in Berlin, Bresslau and nearby) was able to accompany them on their voyage.
