Practical Painters, Decorators, and Designers', by George Ashdown Audsley and Maurice Ashdown Audsley, published by Blackie & Son, Ltd, Glasgow (1892). Folio of blue boards, now loose enclosing various chromolithographs (some enhanced with gilt), accompanied descriptive notices. Victorian design, with plates large enough to frame. Includes Renaissance, mediaeval, oriental and Gothic patterns and motifs showing influence of Ruskin and the Arts and Crafts movement. All 100 plates plus two diagrams present. Descriptive note page missing for XVIII and pen marks to note page XIII.
