upholstered in a mellow red leather with loose cushioned seat flanked by richly figured, high-polished timber-faced curved arms. (Sent to our vendor from Paris). 1600 x 780 x 840mm. CONDITION REPORT: Of the style, not of the 1930s period. Good quality well made contemporary sofa. All leather edges piped or butted with visible detail stitching, appears to be top grain hide upholstery (showing the pores and hide surface variations). Fully upholstered to the back as well. Various small abrasions and marks (commensurate with careful previous owner's use) most would diminish with leather polish/wax/reviver application. Loose cushions not reversible with zip off covers, zipper tab concealed in 'garage', velco strip retainers to underside, good foam filling, . More wear evident to cushions than other parts. Reveal timber arms appears to be rosewood, very high polish finish. A few small marks, minute dings on edges. Unknown maker, the cushion backs marked with a branded diamond manufacturer's mark.
