Longest 120mm. Provenance: The Jorgen Lotz Collection.

A very good obsidian bladed spear, Bismarck Archipelago, Admiralty Islands, PNG. Late 19thC. Fine large flaked point fixed with parinarium nut paste and bound with fine cord mount with tri-colour ochre decoration and similar shoulder additionally with coix seeds, fitted to a slender tapering shaft. L.1610mm. Provenance: Mann Family Collection, Leipzig, Germany; Zemanek-Munster Wurzburg Auctions Sept 17, 2011; Tribal Art Kortmann 2012. The Jorgen Lotz Collection.
