7½-inch radius lacquered brass framed sextant; circa 1845-85; marked on the arc 'A; Dobbie Glasgow'; ebony handle; polished brass and inlaid ivory scale from -5º to 120º; ivory vernier divided 0-15 with swivel magnifier; milled screw adjuster and lock clamp; 4 shades (red; red; amber; green); 3 horizon shades (green; red; red); fitted in teak keystone box; No telescope/ lenses.
