ray-skin wire bound grip (chip and some loose wire), the gilt brass guard with crowned fouled anchor insignia, folding langet section. The 790mm slightly curved fullered blade faintly etched with maker ‘Gillot 36 Strand, London’ and coat-of-arms. Provenance: Cordy's 13/08/2013, lot 180, $750
