the obverse cast in relief with central gold panel of a runner, the reverse with central panel engraved 'Won By A.L.Wilson 1/2 mile 1887'. Dia.34.5mm. See M7 (reverse is different) in 'Teutenberg A Master Engraver & His Work 2007 by Cresswell and Duncan. Note: The recipient was Arthur Liston Wilson (1870-1937) who's grandfather, William Chisholm Wilson (1810-1876) was the founder of the New Zealand Herald newspaper.
