labelled and entitled verso, 910 x 1215. Purchased Warwick Henderson Gallery exhibition 'ROBYN KAHUKIWA Super Heroes for my Mokopuna' 12 November- 30 November 2007. This important series from a pre-eminent New Zealand woman artist is derived from her book 'Supa heroes: te wero' published 2000. Summarised as 'Twins, stolen from their parents and then abandoned, are brought up by Rehua, the God of kindness and his family. Then they are sent back to their people with special gifts to help them in their fight against injustice, ignorance and powerlessness.'
