23 x 33mm rectangular case on genuine black crocodile strap with 18ct gold deployant buckle clasp, two tone silvered dial with Arabic numerals, manual wind, ref 250,1.86, ser. no.1639973. With leather box, previous strap, and outer box. Provenance: Private Auckland estate collection. The classic Reverso was developed by engineers in 1931 for polo players, as the glass of normal watches was often broken during play. CONDITION REPORT: Very good - excellent condition. Packaging and documents: Outer branded cardboard box light wear, inner blue simulated leather presentation box has some abrasions to lid, corners and sides, interior cushion and lining slight dust and lint, mark in area of internal hinge (probably cleanable). No associated documents Watch: The high polish 18ct gold case with signs of very light wear, very light dirt accumulation in crevices. Mechanism runs. May require clean/overhaul to maintain continuous running. The triple fluted reverso case works perfectly. The inside back with Jaeger-LeCoultre Swiss, JL logo, 18K 750 and assay marks on rondel pattern ground. Watch back with Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, shark motif 250.1.86, 1639973. Dial has directional silver face, the center contrasting (light/dark) with the chapter ring depending on the light refraction. The minutes railtrack in sapphire blue tone, blued steel hands, black numerals, Two small scratches to crystal (running on angle between 10 and 5, 9 and 5) and smaller scratch above 8. Strap: 20mm black patent crocodile leather with JL branding inside. With deployant clasp and buckle: marked Jaeger-LeCoultre, Solid Gold 18K logo and 750, as the case - minute marks. With old tan leather strap with gold plated buckle marked JL
