bronzed spelter, the 8-day gilded brass cased timepiece, with white enamel dial, held aloft by an urchin boy. H.400mm. Provenance: The estate collection of Prof. G. Dawson CONDITION REPORT: The figure: considerable dust build up, would clean up. Mounted with a single bolt to turned wooden base with ebonized finish. No repairs or damage, some small marks comennsurate with age. The clock: case with gilt finish, gilt polished off around the face, showing the brass underneath. Winder key head has been pinned and soldered. Hand setting winder is slightly loose on the internal pin and operates best in clockwise motion. White enamel dial with Roman hours and railtrack minutes, near invisible hairline at 10o'clock. Running continuously (half hour plus)
