pastel. 600 x 420mm. Note: John Horner was born in England in 1944 and attended Takapuna Grammar school as a pupil of Owen R. Lee. He graduated from Elam School of Fine Arts in 1965 with honours in painting. He taught secondary school art until the early 80’s and was a senior lecturer at Whitecliffe College of Art and Design until 2013. He has recently retired to concentrate on painting.
