A matching pair of 28" deeply-curved wootz blades with a gold cartouche to each; double-edged tips and serrated notch-backed to 3/4 of their lengths. The hilts are profusely gold damascened (one with a pommel spike, the other a dome). Matched leather scabbards with raised gilding on a red ground. Along with a matching Dahl shield, dia.20". Believed to have been made as a presentation set.
