Pattern 1888 Prussian Officers Sword c.1912. 32" slightly curved flat-back blade with single fullers, profusely etched both sides with military trophy groups.

Lot Details
Good wire bound sharkskin grip. Lions head pommel with red glass eyes, also lions head quillion terminal. Bars and knuckle bow heavily embossed brass with faint traces of gilding. Stamped to fore of quillion 'Geschützes Muster'. Black iron scabbard with one hanging ring. Blade and scabbard have been blued at some time. Later sword knot.
