wire bound sharkskin grip, knurled backstrap, gilt bullion portapee. 34¾" fullered flat back blade, etched, proved, marked with maker's details: 'J.R. Gaunt & Son Limited, Late Edward Thurkle, London & Birmingham'. Steel scabbard. With bullion sword belt.
