with nickel plated knurled handle and curved crossguard, flattened ricasso 'Parkinson / New Zealand', and opposite 'The F-S Fighting Knife'. Blade 6⅞", overall 12". Brown leather sheath with tabs, domed retainer, chromed chape, affixed circular leather tag stamped 'The F-S Fighting Knife' Note: This is a copy of the earliest variant F-S knives which had 3" guards changed to 2" because of snagging on clothing when being drawn. David Decker author of Clandestine Knives of World War II states "Peter Parkinson makes some of the finest recreations of FS knives in the world."
