Lot Details
with nickel plated knurled handle and guard, etched at the flattened ricasso 'Parkinson / New Zealand', and opposite 'The F-S Fighting Knife'. Blade 7", overall 12". Brown leather sheath with tabs, domed retainer, chromed chape, affixed circular leather tag stamped 'The F-S Fighting Knife' Note: This is a copy of the original first F-S knives which had 3" guards that were quickly changed to 2" because of snagging on clothing when being drawn. David Decker author of Clandestine Knives of World War II states "Peter Parkinson makes some of the finest recreations of FS knives in the world."
