maker's mark at ricasso and numbered 17684, dated (18)90 and with Swiss cross. 52 cm spear point blade with saw-back top edge, areas of pitting, solid brass ribbed hilt the crossbar with rondel terminals. Leather and brass scabbard with frog marked J. Suter, Sattler, Koliken 1890 and stamp with a Swiss cross above a “B”.
