Lot Details
Including: David Gower, Allan Lamb, Mike Gatting, Derek Randall. Pakistan toured England and played three tests. England won 2-1. Captains: Bob Willis (England) and Imran Khan (Pakistan). Player of the Series: Imran Khan (Pakistan) — 21 wickets at 18.57, plus 212 runs. 1st Test, Edgbaston: England won by 113 runs, taking a 1-0 lead. 2nd Test, Lord's: Pakistan won by 10 wickets — their first-ever Test win at Lord's. Mohsin Khan scored a career-defining 200, and Mudassar Nazar (a part-timer) took a career-best 6/32. 3rd Test, Headingley: Drawn, sealing England's 2-1 series win. This series is regarded as a genuine coming-of-age series for Pakistan — Mohsin Khan's Lord's double-century and Imran Khan's all-round dominance (bat and ball) foreshadowed Pakistan's rise through the 1980s, culminating in their 1992 World Cup triumph.
