Lot Details
with white fish skin grips and good wire binding. Oval medallion on crossguard with fouled anchor, crown and wreath. Push button spring retainer clip with broken catch. 18" blade with etching and traces of original blue and gilt colouring. In quite good condition for age. Some traces of original gilding on lions head pommel and crossguard. Later scabbard. Note: Queen Victoria cypher. One side of blade gilt crown & crown above. Other side has fouled anchor and crown above with gold inlays.
