Duncan Fraser (b. 28 May 1868 Glasgow). Otago. Sergeant WWI 19/86 Samoan Relief Force Lot comprises: (i) British War Medal to 19/86 S/M D. Fraser NZEF. (ii) Volunteer Long Service Medal (1st iss. VR) to No.123 Col-Sergt. D. Fraser Dunedin Highland Rifles Vols (1909) and (iii) NZ Long and Efficient Service Medal to 'No.123 Sergt. Duncan Fraser Dunedin Highland Rifle Volunteers (1905)'. Enlisted 6 Jan 1915. Embarked 27 March 1915 to Apia. Discharged 20 May 1916. Subsequently employed as S/Instructor NZPS (Temp) injured and compensated.
