Lot comprises: (i) WWI Victory Medal, (ii) bronze Memorial Plaque in original envelope and card case, Geo V Memorial Scroll and Certificate of Services in the NZEF; (iii) a piece of commemorative ribbon, labelled 'Worn War Ended Tuesday Nov 12th 1918, Armistice signed 9/11/18 + Peace Day, Sat - Mon 19th - 21st July 1919 Embarked 5 February 1916, Wounded France 7 July 1916 and again on 14 June 1917, Promoted Cpl 30 Mar 1918, Wounded (3rd occ) 29 April 1918 (GSW Head), hospitalised London seriously ill, embarked to transfer to HS Marama in Marseilles 31 July, Died of Wounds 3 August 1918. Buried Cimetiere Ste. Marie, Le Havre, France. Memorialised: Rolls of Honour: NZ Railways -Wellington Railway Station and Addington Workshop Ferrymead.
