Peter McKenzie (aka MacKenzie), (Walter Peak Station, Queenstown, b.1887) Capt. NZEF Otago Infantry Bn, 7th. Reinforcements. (Brothers Lieuts. Walter (KIA Gallipoli) and John (Territorials) also served). Lot comprises: (i) 1914 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal; (ii) Geo V Jubilee medal; (iii) Col Aux Forces officers' decoration*; (iv) Col Aux Forces LSM; (v) NZLESM** (above swing mounted) (vi) swing mounted miniatures of the above, (vii) Territorial Service Medal*** (loose on ribbon). (viii) large RSA 8/2801 badge (pin absent) and small RSA 8/2801 (61) badge. * First Geo. V version, named verso to 'Qr.Mr. (Maj) P MacKenzie, Otago Rgt' (20 years service in the Volunteer Services) ** Second version by G.T.
