James (Jim) Chamberlain ( 1 June 1895 - 25 Nov 1961 ) Canterbury. WW1 24/75 NZEF Rifleman NZ Rifle Bgde 2/Bn A-Coy. Egypt, EEF and Western Front. Lot Comprises: WW1 14-15 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal. Enlisted 29 May 1915. Embarked 9 Oct 15 - Suez. Wounded Somme 15 Sept 1916 Shrapnel to body, GSW head. Discharged unfit due to Wounds 23 October 1917. Attested 10/8/40, discharged 1/9/48, served NZ T.E.S. Includes: AWWM printout and NZ Archives printout. Provenance: Laurie Osborne Collection
